Catfish made simple
Yesterday I was in Jacksonville, FL and found a little pond near my girls house. I decided to throw some soft plastics but the weather had been overcast and the temperature was dropping fairly quickly. As I sat there I decided the bass probably wouldn't be biting today, so I decided to go snag a few bream just for fun on the old school tried and true method of bread balls on a small snelled hook with a tiny bobber. I sat there for about 2 minutes and my bobber took off! I started to think I had caught a world record bream until I saw whiskers appear from the muddy water. One after another I snagged 4 nice speckled cats within about a 30 minute time period. Its amazing the small places that can turn out to be great fishin holes!
